Who sees what on 5asider
The short version
- Anyone can see a squad's name, area and description, when it plays, and its scores.
- Only members of a squad see who is in it: names, who's playing, teams, league tables, reliability and replies.
- A player's profile is seen only by the people they play with, and by the site's administrators.
- Your email address is never shown to other players.
What we keep
- Your name and email address, from Google when you sign in.
- Players' names, added by you or by the organiser of your squad.
- Games: when and where, who said they could play, the teams and the scores.
- Statistics worked out from those games, such as league tables and ratings.
We use this to run your squad: to email you about games, pick teams and keep the tables. We don't sell it or share it with anyone else.
Cookies, analytics and adverts
A cookie keeps you logged in. We use Google Analytics to see how the site is used, and Google AdSense shows adverts. Visitors in the UK, EEA and Switzerland are asked before Google uses cookies for these.
Squads that stop playing
Squads that haven't played for a year drop out of Find a squad. An organiser can also archive their squad to hide it.
Your rights
You can see and correct your details on your profile. To get a copy of your data, or to have it deleted, contact Smitek Ltd, who run 5asider.
